Was your gauge correct Brenda? I think you should bring tis to the meeting on Tuesday night too -- along with the Vogue magazine so we can compare -- I see some show and tell here (along with Alpin Glow)
I love the color. Somehow I thought the shape would be different...the big question is, do you like it? Do you think you'll wear it? It does look cozy warm and maybe there are still a few weeks when that might be useful!
Okay, to answer all the questions...yes, it's cozy, yes, I wear it, maybe it could have used more buttons but I only had one fancy one, yes, my gauge was spot on, hey, it's me! :) and yes, it's warm. I like the color and the texture most of all. If I ever knit it again, I will do it in a dk weight with a 4mm needle just to see what happens and make it the way Norah intended it to be made.

It looks cozy. Are you going to publish the pattern for us cable fanatics? :-)

good job - I'd even think about a few more buttons to make it a bit more body conscious? - but great modifications.
Interesting design, to be sure. I bet that you enjoyed the challenge of the shaping. Is it comfortable?
I just love your Alpin Glow but then I am a color junkie and it is mighty arty farty, like your socks.
Looking forward to seeing all of the new sock designs and hope that you are having a blast with the color.
