Dewberry Delight

My Norah Gaughan cropped sweater is in progress. I have a few more pentagons to knit and I want to wear it before the snow completely disappears. It's coming along wonderfully and I just love the colour. Now to find a pretty button for it, it can't just be any button either. This deserves something special.

Are you enjoying this Shetland Aran stuff? I'm really liking mine. I've been knitting through a ribbed slip stitch pattern that just flies when I get going...I like the color of your Dewberry there, and I'm sure it will look great on you!

Thanks Melanie and Joanne,

I am enjoying knitting with it, it's very soft, I'm not sure yet what kind of button to get for it, a sparkly one or a glass one. Hmmm.

I have been knitting this in off white/sand and yours looks regal and gorgeous in that color. Have you seen the finished one on www.knitlit.blogspot. She says it is more of a capecho and not the tight little fitted jacke they show on the cover of vogue.

Janice, I'm hoping that mine is not going to be a capecho but a nice jacket instead. After all that work I'd be really disappointed if it turned out to be huge. So far I'm on gauge...
